It seems like Brazen has had several lives. Formed at the end of the 1990s in Geneva (Switzerland), the band emerged at the turn of the millennium as an emo/post-hardcore outfit, laying the foundations for a sound universe of intertwining harmonies and raging melancholy on their debut EP '...as floods decrease' (2000, Snuff Records).

Moving on to prog-tinged indie-rock, the melodic vein of which they dug with 'Orphaned' (2003, on a subdivision of Stickman Records) and then 'Aura, Dora' (2006, Saïko Records), Brazen has toured Europe, playing with the likes of Cave In, Blonde Redhead, Franz Ferdinand, Nada Surf, Monochrome, Hot Water Music, Favez or KVLR.

After an eclipse of almost two decades, Brazen is returning with a new album in June 2024, opening a new chapter in Brazen's history, proving that the band has lost none of its harmonic richness, epic breath or sense of melodic storytelling.
